I have recently started my own diesel repair shop and 80% of my business is tied to the current MVIS program in place, I Realize the importance of the emissions standards that are being implemented, my major concern is how my shop will qualify for a contract, I am also concerned about the associated cost to digitalize all aspects of the MVIS process, I would imagine this cost would be very significant. As a new business that has been in operation for 9 months and that has grown to the point where I need to invest in a facility, it will be very hard to swallow a major investment in the required equipment to implement this digital record process, What will this cost be? What standards will I need to achieve to qualify for a contract? What equipment will be Required? Is your timeline even achievable? July 2022? Is a shop that is not performing e-tests at this current time considered for a contract? There are a lot of question that need to be answered, Will there be a grant or loan for the equipment needed to capture the MVIS/Etest Digitally, I have invested all I have into starting up this business and it has been very successful to date, I have a Major concern for my future with the merging of ETest/MVIS, I am willing to do what it takes to modernize this process but my fear is being left out of the loop in this quickly implemented process.
