The disruption of the southern Ontario deer season for the controlled hunt using black powder and shotguns truly hinders the bowhunter. The bow season should run undisturbed until the last three weeks of the season where the black powder and shotgun season should be implemented on three back to back to back weeks. The black powder and shotgun season disrupts the bow hunting to a great degree changing the deer patterns. Also, the colder weather makes for sitting longer with a bow difficult. I would like to see the bow season runs from the beginning 23 weeks before the end of the season where the black powder can then be implemented
