The November hunt needs to be pushed back a week to the second Monday of November. It never falls into the rut anymore, which we’re finding is a lot of young bucks are shot and not a lot of does being bred because of it. Read more

I am a hunter both bow and gun. Please don’t mix them both. People who shoot bow have way longer to hunt the season as it is then gun season. Gun season is 7 days in November 7 days in December. Bow runs from Oct to Dec 31. Missing a week in November and a week in December won’t hurt anyone. Read more

Hello I’m an avid archery hunter with my own property in WMU 92. During the muzzleloader seasons (3) I am unable to hunt my own land. Because of the 3 separate seasons I Miss out on some of the best archery hunting opportunities. Read more

I'm all for hunting opportunities. But I hope fot zone 8 that the muzzle loader season is not shortened. It's good to move it earlier and shorten the bow season, but 2 weeks is only 2 weeks. Any shorter would hardly make it worth while owning a muzzle loader.

Please allow archery hunting during the controlled hunts in all areas of the hunter has a tag for the week. No reason why you should not be allowed to hunt private and owned ground if you are wearing hunter orange. Read more

Why would you allow bow hunting during gun hunts in some but not all WMU’s?!? I’d like to see bow open during CDH in 92D specifically if not all of 92. Why not even allow shotgun in 92D instead of just muzzleloader?!?!

Seasons are long enough already and deer have sustained pressure through the entire fall with a lengthy archery hunt in addition to a gun hunt. I own property and hunt deer in wmu 45. All it takes is a bad winter and our deer population is threatened. Read more

I fully support these amendments as a deer hunter. Specifically, I am very pleased to finally see amendment proposal number 2. I am a bow hunter and find it unfair to have to miss the first week of November during peek rut activity during the gun season.
