Bow hunters already have 9 weeks of dedicated uninterrupted hunting.
Gun hunters in southern Ontario have their choice of one of two weeks and that is it.
Please do not open up the controlled hunt to bow hunters.
This will create a divide between the groups and create a situation where exclusive bow hunters will be competing for controlled hunt licences agasint strictly gun hunters
The proper fix is to permit the successful controlled hunt applicant to use a bow on Sunday where Sunday gun hunting is prohibited.
Gun hunters lost a day of the hunt in Municipalities with prohibition of Sunday gun hunting, opening up the entire controlled hunt to bows is a mistake in my opinion.
