It's foolish to cancel a market price for C02 emissions. Cap and trade was *invented* by conservatives who wanted a market mechanism to deal with climate change caused by global warming. Pricing
Use the revenue to support small businesses, to offset tax cuts, to pay down debt, to issue cash rebates to farmers, to fund rural development, whatever you like.
Just don't cancel a market-led approach to climate change unless you have a better plan. Carbon pricing can be a job and wealth creator. Don't let the liberals get the only votes on this. Make carbon pricing conservative again!
