I am in strong favour of keeping the carbon tax / Cap and Trade system in place.

I strongly oppose any attempts at its cancellation, or any reduction which would impact the end goal of reducing our carbon emissions.

While it may be in the financial best interests of certain large corporations to reduce/eliminate these penalties, it is to the combined detriment of the Ontario populace, and the world at large.

We must remain committed to reducing carbon emissions, and hold this as our main priority.
