We are residents of Prince Edward County and support the amendment.
We feel the province, local conservation authority, Nature Conservancy, the County, SSIJ and area citizen group(s) should come together and develop the management process and plan in full collaboration with relevant First Nation and Métis governments.
The name(s) of the new reserve should reflect both Indigenous and “settler” values, not just the latter.
