Summary: Bring Green Rebates For Families Back.

We need fast action not a slow "orderly wind-down". We had a perfectly good system in place. Which used money from a tax to subsidies and encourage quick transitions to green renewable projects. This system taxed high polluters (greenhouse gas creators) and also encouraged them to change their industry so they don't get taxed as much. The system was a Win Win for the people of Ontario. The losers being a few mega corporations that have no interest in reducing their pollution.

I'm fully against this Cap and Trade Cancellation Act as long as it removes all public incentives for families to use their buying power. By this I mean rebates that promote Ontario families to buy Green (Electric zero gas cars, Solar, Green products). When the buying public shift their money into green. Polluters shift products to were the money is, which would be green products not greenhouse gas based.
