What the Government of Ontario should do regarding climate change mitigation:
1. Withdraw the the Cap and Trade Cancellation bill, and cooperate with Canadians to counter global warming
2. Reinstate the 758 cancelled green energy contracts and compensate all those suffering interim losses, which would save jobs and help restore confidence in Ontario's trustworthiness.
3. Reinstate or improve the program to support energy conservation and retrofits.
4. Keep or increase the gas tax, and use the proceeds to fund sensible public transit.
5. Cancel plans to invest provincial taxpayers' money into the Scarborough Subway boondoggle
and support Toronto's relief subway and LRT networks.
6. Cancel plans to seize the Toronto's subways and increase TTC operating support.
7. Resign as the Government and let a party that cares about the environment take over.
(I would sign this, but you prohibit it and I don't want another 'account' so didn't register.)
