Hello,
I am writing to express my opinion that repealing a system that was working (cap-and-trade) and replacing it with a system that is not clearly defined (Bill 4) is not right. Carbon emissions are harming Canadians and Ontarians right now and will bring harm in the future. The Province needs to have clearly defined targets, pathways and corresponding mechanisms. These are usually developed by qualified professionals and takes a lot of time to define. The short timeframe in which Bill 4 was created casts serious doubt on the quality of this proposed policy.
