This is an extremely important issue for accessibility for services. At our hospital, Bruyère, we have several patients who are unable to return to their community due to a lack of transportation services. Our patients require life saving dialysis treatments and not having accessible transportation available to them from their community to a dialysis site limits their discharge options.
Thank you for looking into this for our patients who deserve to be repatriated home and continue to have access to transportation for life saving treatments.
