Most common reason I hear people not wanting to adopt EVs is cause they are expensive or cause they worry about the range. The Ford government already took away the incentives for people in Ontario, so dedicating money to EV chargers is a good move in the direction to address the former. However, we need more incentives for people, especially young people. I do not know many, if any other people under the age of 35 that own an EV. At EV association meetings, the average age of individuals there is probably 50-60+. EV are out of reach for the average middle income individual.
