I was dismayed at the speed at which bill 4 was introduced without any public consultation or any proposed alternative, only a promise to produce a plan at some unidentified future time. I regard climate change as the most important problem facing the world (including Ontario), and as a resident of Ontario I am greatly disappointed at the action of my present government. I would recommend withdrawal of Bill 4 until sufficient discussion has occurred to produce a better plan than the one that is being cancelled. I am embarrassed that I am not able to contribute my 10c a liter of gas to help save the world from an impending catastrophe that is difficult to imagine.
