This proposal seems extremely unreasonable and the numbers don't add up - developers will make out like bandits very clearly, and green space that is shared by everyone will become exclusive and overly expensive real estate.
The numbers (as of Nov 4th 2022) are 50,000 homes, of the stated 1.5M required (just 3.3%), requiring a whopping 7400 acres of land (6.75 acres/home).
There simply must be a better use of land and higher density/lower impact development that can be done.
