Do not do remove lands from the Green Belt or Oak Ridges Moraine. There is more than enough land in existing municipal boundaries for housing. if a developer has purchased land within the Green Belt and/or Oak Ridges Moraine in the hopes of exploiting it, then the government should buy the land from the owner and put it under the control of a Conservation Authority. All existing lands within the Green Belt and Oak Ridges Moraine are critical for preserving agricultural land, wetlands, wetland complexes, water sources and wildlife habitat and corridors. Adding more land to both the Green Belt and the Oak Ridges Moraine should be done.
