Ontario does not need any additional sprawl. Removing these lands from the Green belt are not going to encourage meaningful growth or valuable development. We need coordinated development and protection of valuable protected green lands. This proposed change is not in the best interest of average Ontarians or for the future.

We do not want more sprawl, more automobile emissions, and more roads. We need to protect our green lands for climate change mitigation!

Development should focus on lands already designated for development and focus on higher density developments and infill so that Ontarians can live in complete communities close to where they work and kids go to school. Young adults also do not want to live in suburbs. I urge you to not move forward with this amendment.
