What is the point of having a Green Belt when as soon as it becomes inconvenient "exceptions" are made. There is no lack of appropriate space to build that we need to sacrifice our own health. Decisions like these are non-reversible. It is also quite shocking that this is coming at the same time as the COP27 Summit where all agree Climate Change is a real thing and only a change in thinking is going to mitigate the damage. How do we look children in their eyes and tell them that we do take the environment seriously when the Greenback means more than the Green Belt.
