This proposal is a slap in the face of every Ontarian who voted for Doug Ford. We want sustainable solutions for the housing and environmental crises. Reducing our green space and claiming to make already protected lands part of the Greenbelt is a lie. Giving some of the most valuable land in Canada over to developers to build single family homes is a prime example of a failure to invest in the future and rather focussing on self-serving interests and short term goals.
