The land Ford plans on using for new housing is protected for a reason.
To make matters worse the land will not be used for AFFORDABLE HOUSING. Instead we should expect more big money throwing its weight around and generally making the cost of housing impossible to afford. It's not the protected land that's making housing difficult to find. I don't have issues with ducks and fish charging me absurd sums for rent.
Everyone knows corporations and landlords have been inflating their prices due to greed. Nobody is fooled. It's not inflation, it's greed, and killing protected land and species is not going to combat greed. In fact, one might wonder how it isn't exactly what the greedy would want.
This plan is embarrassing and shameful.
