I strongly oppose the proposal to open up any part of Ontario's green belt to property developers.
The Ford governments crusade to destroy the eco system and roll back environmental protections must stop. Twice Mr Ford promised not to touch the Green belt and twice now he has broken that promise in addition to eliminating green initiatives when he was first elected.
Ontario has more then enough developers land to meet all housing needs and requires only intelligent planning to get there. Do it properly and do not set the dangerous precedent of rolling back environmental protections on a whim.
