1: we need to increase this greenbelt close to existing development so citizens can make use of these -- they are the parks that developers now seem to not have to provide -- replacement land is not nearby!
2: what type of restrictions is there going to be on how this land is used?? It should be used for multiple super dense housing -- not 1/4acre mansions!!!
3: greenbelt is often marshland & needed connections to provide shelter for animals displaced by rolling out homes over 100's of acres also march filters & buffers excess water MUCH NEEDED & SEVERLY UNDERVALUED! should NOT use ANY of this type of land
4: greenbelt should be kept & added to with NONE taken out of inventory to try to provide a quick fix to a perceived housing problem -- we need to know how this is going to solve the problem in DETAIL not rosy non enforced promises & then consumed to provide more palatial mansions
5 should be kept under provincial control & developed as high density low income housing with ownership remaining with province or region & locked in to this ownership (i.e. cannot be sold/transferred to private sector) most need is in this area especially for new arrivals & low income
