This is a very short sighted…

This is a very short sighted policy change. Politicians are elected on the basis of the promises that they make. Last year's election had the current government promising not to touch the greenbelt. They are now trying to break that promise.

The majority of the changes involve land that is identified as 'Natural Heritage Area'. These are the areas that are needed to generate the linkages for the natural world to connect.

Also, in a world where are having food shortages, it is short sighted to permanently remove food producing areas (i.e. farmland).

I do not support these proposed changes.
