I am against this proposal…

I am against this proposal to redesignate existing Greenbelt areas of land to be used for housing. The Greenbelt is vital land important to the ecosystem and health of the surrounding area. It is land that will never be reclaimed and will permanently be lost.

Ontario has many other opportunities within existing zoned lands to build and develop housing for future growth and I urge the government to leave the Greenbelt alone. Not developing the Greenbelt was an election promise made by the current government and as a constituent of the province, I am angry that this pledge is being violated.

Leave the Greenbelt alone and do not build housing on these protected lands!
