Firstly, it is ridiculous that this is being proposed despite promises that it would not happen. If I have 0 trust in this government to uphold a previous promise, I have 0 trust it will deliver on new ones remotely effectively. Absolutely ridiculous that

Secondly, you cannot just "swap" land masses around as if they are all identical. The reality is each land mass is unique with specific conditions to each one. If this was audited and studied correctly, you'd realize having green land masses as one continuous mass instead of fragmented land masses is much more beneficial. This is clearly shortsighted and not researched well enough for me to have any confidence that it will go well.

Thirdly, destroying 7400 acres for ONLY 50,000 homes is way too small a number. You could achieve 50,000 housing units outside of the green belt if you really wanted to instead of being lazy and lying about previous promises. Make no mistake, I am telling all of my friends of this incompetence
