Instead of developing land that already has a purpose, that is being necessary green space in the province, you could focus on improving already existing urban areas, making them more affordable and attractive to the immigrent population you claim this new development would be for. There is plenty of unoccupied accommodation in southern Ontario that would be more beneficial that this idea which would destroy protected lands. How about you make Toronto affordable again, focus on housing in the outer GTAH and stop taking away the green belt that keeps this province and by extension country healthy.
