The amendment of the Greenbelt to build new houses is the wrong direction to take to tackle a housing crisis. We need more density, not more land taken up by single family homes. Incentives and faster permit turnaround should be given to projects building condos and rental apartment buildings, especially in transit cores like along the Go lines.
