The PC government promised not to touch this land for development yet flipped their stance with very little announcement. This is in very bad faith and only serves to increase profits to those developing the land. Housing scarcity will still be a major problem and we will be losing very valuable green space. This seems very short sighted when considering impending global phenomenon like climate change and food shortages. Please do not touch this land for housing development as was promised to the people during the elections.
