I do not support this…

I do not support this initiative. It is not a good solution to the housing problems in the GTA to create housing far away from workplaces. Our infrastructure can't support tens of thousands more commuters from these areas.

More importantly, this plan will have devastating consequences for the habitats protected by the Greenbelt. It is unbelievably irresponsible to destroy these habitats piecemeal without considering the environmental impact on the rest of the region. I'll never vote for the Conservatives if this goes through, and I've had so many conversations with others who feel the same. Incredibly unpopular move.
