I firmly believe that the Greenbelt lands should be protected, maintained, and expanded. The Greenbelt lands as they exist now should not be re-designated for housing development. The Greenbelt lands are valuable environmental lands that should be protected.
I would strongly encourage the government to review their housing development plans and seek out alternative areas for housing development. I would strongly encourage them to work with municipalities to focus on high density housing, building up instead of out. In this way, we can protect our valuable green space.
