Please leave the greenbelt as is. Make it easier through incentives to build low rise apartments where infrastructure already supports the growth in smaller towns around the province and create entire new towns in the north instead of more urban sprawl in the GTA. The green belt is a key producer of Grown in Ontario produce, it acts as a safe wildlife corridor for transient species big and small, as well as a key ecological barrier for Lake Simcoe and the Trent Severn watershed linking it with the rouge and stretching in to Scarborough through what used to be predominantly farm land through Pickering/Stouffville and Uxbridge.

I'd much rather see the Ontario and Federal Governments collaborate to finally unlock the Pickering Airport lands not immediately earmarked for the airport itself instead to compliment the required immigration driven growth of the GTA in the short term and make the greenbelt formally a provincial wildlife preservation park from one end to the other for all of the GTA to have someplace not requiring 2-3 hours of commuting to enjoy our natural wonders for generations to come.

Thank you
