Why are we destroying…

Why are we destroying previously protected green space? What has changed? Our climate is continuing to deteriorate so if anything we should be strengthening these protections. I live in Hamilton and cheered when the council voted no to the boundary expansion. And now, Ford comes through with his gorilla hands (full of developer cash) and overrules it. Increasing density is the better option. I am opposed to this proposal and I hope Hamilton follows through with obstructing development on this land.
