Reneging on an election…

Reneging on an election promise to not develop the Greenbelt will ensure that I will never vote for another Conservative party ever again. The word 'conserve' is within the party's name. There are substantial brown and yellow belt zones outside of the Greenbelt that could be developed and intensified which would still meet Ontario's need for growth. Once these Greenbelt zones are developed, they will be lost forever and cannot be simply replaced with other land. We all need clean air and water to thrive, this plan is insane.
