It is abhorrent to build housing in the greenbelt, gutting environmental regulations in some of this province's most well protected and biodiverse ecosystems to build oversized McMansions. The solution for housing is greater density in places where housing already exists, and disallowing Not-In-My-Backyard (NIMBY) policy making when we invite so many new people into this province.
Also - shame on the lies that this land would not be touched. It took less than a year before turning back on this project.
