There is no reason to destroy valuable green areas that take decades to mature. The greenbelt provides lots of protection and resources to Ontario and should remain protected from development.

Housing concerns need to be addressed in already growing or mature residential areas where people already want to live. Promote more mixed-use, medium-rise residential and low-multi-unit residential along infrastructure paths, such as the proposed Ontario line. Any world-class city shows the benefits of expanding urban centres, as opposed to disconnected satellite developments that cause more problems than they solve.
