I absolutely think this is a terrible idea. There are so many more areas that are viable options, than destroying our very minimal green space.

Building million dollar homes will not help our housing crisis, especially in areas that are car centric and have no means to effective public transportation.

The government literally can tax the sky and build muti-unit buildings. Focus more on converting empty office buildings in center cores (commercial/residential hybrids) instead. Preserve greenspace and preserve the future.
