The Green Belt should not be redeveloped, re-zoned or reconsidered in any way, shape or form unless it involves increasing the size of the Greenbelt or helping to repair and restore the existing Greenbelt area.

Under no circumstances should the Greenbelt be diminished, reduced, lessened, or decreased in size or protective capabilities.

The Greenbelt is an important area biologically, geologically, and hydrologically, and safeguards the future of natural space in Ontario. If we can’t create residential areas without disturbing these vital natural areas, then we shouldn’t be developing.
