Greenbelts serve a vital ecological function. To remove these will have deep environmental impacts. As well, housing contractors will only build large inefficient homes that will not supply the needs of the people struggling to find housing Housing can be built in other areas- dead industrial space for example i suggest the government consult with experts in the environment fields to come up with viable solutions.
