The people of Ontario have made it very clear that they do not support the changes to the Green and White belt lands in Ontario. Since the current government promised before re-election that they would not do what they are now proposing, the mandate they have to govern from their majority does not give them the right to do this, as it is reneging on an election promise. These changes are against the wishes of the majority of Ontarians and I hope that the current government realizes that those Ontarians will remember the broken promises and blatant lies come the next election.
