I think it's outrageous that the Government is insisting on developing areas within the green belt despite the residents of these areas already deciding that they want the Green belt to remain protected. There is a housing crisis in Ontario indeed but the solution isn't to allow developers to further destroy our protected land. The solution is to build affordable housing in the many already existing residential areas of Ontario.
