The housing crisis should not take precedent over our environment. We shouldn’t threaten the carrying capacity of our environment. The green belt act was established for the purpose of protecting vital ecosystems and curbing urban sprawl. This housing plant is a direct show of the hypocrisy in our politicians. Don’t touch the green belt. The new houses and subdivisions are disgusting. If we’re in need of places to live start building more apartment buildings. More units in less space. Duh.
