I vehemently oppose any policy which will reduce the surface area of the green belt. Any housing policy which does not focus on urban densification is a policy doomed to failure.

This proposal demonstrates a continued commitment to urban sprawl which increases pressure on natural habitats. We need to preserve and expand the already incredibly limited natural habitat for our native fauna and flora, not bulldoze it for the construction of single family homes.

This proposal is a clear signal that this government continues to work for real estate developers and not for the residents of Ontario. No to urban sprawl, yes to EXPANSION of the greenbelt.
