I oppose this proposed amendment for the following reasons:
The green belt helps stop urban sprawl and improves our quality of life. It is habitat for 78 species at risk of extinction. 98,700 hectares of lakes, rivers and streams providing freshwater. 10,000 km of recreational trails for use by residents. 5500 farms providing residents with fresh, local food.
