Can we please address all the empty space already within the cities first before moving to the green belt? Give incentives to builders who will do this. Building low and medium density, more apartment buildings for those that can't/don't want to buy or stuck in a condo building.

Food shortages are a real thing, we can continue to grow our own food but if we pave over all the land, we'll be stuck trying to provide for ourselves with reliance on foreign nations. If these nations have any internal issues, we could be shut out.
