We have enough economic disasters, we don’t need to damage the protected green belt with entirely preventable action like this. There is enough Airbnb and vacant investment property EVERYWHERE in the GTA which could be better used to provide housing, and it’ll be at a reasonable distance to jobs which need to be fulfilled within the city. Nobody wants to commute to and from the green belt to a job that is very likely in the immediate surround area of Toronto.
There is no benefit to anyone but the companies and investors that already have massive greedy amounts of wealth.
This does not help real Ontarians
