As a lifelong Hamiltonian I wholeheartedly disagree with this proposed amendment to the greenbelt plan.

My understanding from the Ford government was that this terrible idea to allocate land from the greenbelt would not be done after the backlash received for this awful idea during the campaign.

It seems like the Ford government either does not listen to the people that live and work in this province, or simply does not care, and I am not sure which is worse.

This is a betrayal of the public trust and our own municipal government will not and should not support this.
