No part of the Green Belt should be used to build new homes on. It should be UNTOUCHABLE for development. There are 78 species at risk that live there and ecological diversity that needs to be protected.
A land swap doesn't fix the issue, species of plants and animals can't be relocated that way. I am outraged that this is deemed a solution when anyone with a base knowledge in environmental issues knows that you can't remove areas of a protected habitat and expect it not to have devastating impacts.

Find another place to build the homes without destroying the precious green belt. Table legislation that 100% PROHIBITS any government from reducing the size of the greenbelt. This is an appalling proposal. There are other areas in the GTHA already available for development. Don't touch the green belt.
We need it to help protect species and to mitigate risks of flood and climate change.

You should be DOUBLING the green belt, not removing a single square foot!
