We aren't stupid, we know this is all to line the pockets of your developer buddies. You can make high density housing without destroying farmlands and habitats, but that doesn't give money to your friends, does it?
Not to mention you need to do this to justify your useless highway 413, which you'll build with public funds, again paying your construction buddies, and probably privatize like the 407 anyways. Destroying more greenery for nothing.
All part of the government's war on trees and wildlife. God forbid we still have some green space in the province to filter some carbon dioxide out of the air. Massive destruction for short term profit and long term consequences. But I guess you don't care about your kids' future, or anyone else's for that matter. As long as you get your money. Shameful, shortsighted, uneducated, uninformed, and greedy.
How about spending some money on the healthcare system you're collapsing instead of this garbage? You already have thousands of deaths on your hands, how could anyone sleep at night knowing that?
