I do not support any removal of Greenbelt land for development, including housing. Rewarding developers to destroy ecosystems and encouraging urban sprawl is not the way forward to increasing supply of housing for Ontarians. We need to think about this from a holistic system view to understand how to add density and the supporting services and infrastructure to support the increased density - rather than promoting more selfish single-person usage.

Municipal and provincial governments should work together to enact policies that encourage densification, and protection of green spaces, conservation and farming land.
