Destroying the Greenbelt because some wealthy land owners decided to buy up large tracts of land years ago is not a good idea. Nor is it "necessary" as the Premier has commented recently. The government's own Housing Affordability Task Force also notes this in their report linked below - see page 10.

If this government wants to fulfill their slogan "For The People", stop pushing unpopular decisions that benefit very few and will have long-lasting, negative impacts to our environment, drinking water, wildlife, wetlands, and on and on and on.

Please, please, please use the resources, the experts who want to help, and common sense to move forward with a better plan than this.

Incentivize redevelopments of strip malls, malls, abandoned commercial and industrial properties. Focus on building urban areas in towns and smaller cities that have the ability to grow up, not out.
