This is a terrible idea. The government found the worst solution (sacrificing the Greenbelt) for a very real problem (diminishing housing supply with a growing demand).

Reducing nature’s footprint will not benefit our society in the long run.

I don’t know how else to vehemently oppose this proposal and indicate that it is horrible idea without profanity and yelling, so I will stop. I hope someone more eloquent than I writes in specific reasons why we should oppose this proposal.

The world is burning and flooding and this plan would make it worst.
